• What are the different sizes and on which type of dolls are they compatible?

We have 3 sizes of clothing, suitable for 12, 13 and 14 inch dolls.

12 and 14 inch sizes are ideal for soft-body dolls like "Corolle", "Götz", "Petit Collin", "Paola Reina"…

The different compatible models are mentioned in the description of each product. You can also find it easily in the chart on our size guide page.

The "13 inch" size is suitable for dolls like Corolle's "Poupée Chérie", Paola Reina's "liu", "Carla", "Carol", "Christi", "Nora", …

Some of our 12 inch small size clothes can dress the 12.5 inch "Happy To See You" dolls: bloomers, blouses, sweaters and cache-coeurs.

If your doll no longer has its size label (usually sewn on the side of the doll), you can check it yourself with a measuring tape : simply measure the full height of the doll, from the top of the skull to the soles of the feet, keeping the meter tight, as if you were measuring a child!

  • How are our little clothes packed ?

Each article of clothing is carefully ironed before being slipped into a fully recyclable polypropylene envelope. Of course, each article is in its own envelope. Then we slip its envelopes in a bubble envelope for small orders, or in a box if your order is more important.

We also offer a "Gift" option, which consists of adding a special « La Poupetterie » cardboard packaging. We can also add a word from you, written on a nice card!

  • How can you wash your clothes?

All fabrics* are cotton made and therefore 100°F machine washable.

* Exept for 100% pure wool fabrics : sweaters, cache-coeurs and slippers for witch we recommend hand washing.

Last, but not the least, standards...

  • Why a CE logo?

The presence of CE marking makes it possible to check that a toy complies with the essential safety requirements. The latest European directive imposes the obligation to market only "safe" toys that do not compromise the health or safety of children when used for their intended purpose. It defines requirements including physical, mechanical, chemical, toxicological, electrical properties, flammability and labeling. It also requires a compliance review by an approved independent third party prior to commercialization. The producer must then guarantee a system of traceability of the production line and controls by sampling.

All our doll clothes have been subjected to CE marking tests by an approved organization.

  • What is the Ecotex standard?

Ecotex standard prooves a textile product does not pose a risk to health. It allows the consumer to judge the quality of textiles in terms of human ecology.

The EcoTex 100 label is a test and certification system for filtering any harmful substance used for textile production.

This label was set up in 1992 by a group of European textile institutes.

It is the dominant and most recognized system in the field of textile Eco-Labels, with more than 4800 certificates granted worldwide since its creation.

The EcoTex label imposes stricter limits than those of the European Union on the use of certain substances, in particular some considered dangerous but not yet prohibited by the legislation.

  • What about REACH standards?

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. It is a European Union regulation adopted to better protect human health and the environment against the risks associated with chemical substances. It requires companies to provide a certain amount of information about the substances they produce, use or import.

Our fabrics in Liberty, as well as the lange, the sponge and the velvet jersey are certified Ecotex and / or REACH.
